The Hired Guns are seeking a Marketing Analytics Specialist to jump on board in the launch phase of something new and exciting: an in-house digital marketing and media agency dedicated to growing the online and omnichannel business of a market-leading and highly respected name in digital and brick-and-mortar retail.

As the Marketing Analytics Specialist, it will be your job to analyze marketing campaign data spanning a wide variety of channels and tactics, including display advertising, sponsored product listings, and branded destination pages on the company’s main site as well as off-site channels such as social media, SEM, and audience extension. You’ll tease out actionable business intelligence using your expertise in data analysis and reporting, provide interpretation of your insights that help inform effective business decisions, and wield your creative ingenuity to create and seek out new tools and techniques. Plan on keeping a lot of balls, as well as the occasional torch or chainsaw, in the air as you field multiple requests for data and analysis from both internal and external customers!

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You come to the party with a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or data science followed by at least two years of solid experience in data analysis or business intelligence within a digital marketing environment. You have expert-level chops in writing complex SQL queries, along with seriously strong Tableau data-viz skills. Rounding out the package, you’re highly proficient with analytics tools such as SAS, R, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics, plus digital marketing tools like Google Ad Manager, Google Adwords, or Linkshare. On top of all that, you’re a great communicator (both spoken and written) who’s persuasive and organized with very high emotional intelligence. You excel at building relationships across functional areas and learning how to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
