The leading U.S. provider of heating/ ventilation/ air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing services is in a high-growth period (let’s face it, we all need their help sometimes!). This business is going nowhere but up (it’s a 1.5-billion-dollar company and growing), and that’s where you come in:
To keep up with their expansion, they’re looking for a Paid Search Manager to manage the strategy and performance of all paid search campaigns across various paid marketing channels including Google AdWords, BingAds, and paid social media ad platforms.
It will be your responsibility to apply the best conversion optimization techniques including ad headline and copy testing, landing page design and testing, and bidding tools. You’ll collaborate with the SEM agency and general managers and present your paid marketing performance reports to management, posing recommendations to maximize marketing performance. You’ll forecast and manage budgets across Brand and Non-Brand campaigns, as well as across service lines (HVAC, Plumbing) and by division/region.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
We are looking for someone with 4+ years of relevant experience managing strategy and setup of paid digital marketing campaigns with monthly budgets of more than $50,000. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a major in marketing, internet marketing, computer science, or a related field preferred. You must be brilliant at conversion optimization techniques including headline and copy testing, landing page design and testing, and bidding tools & techniques. Plus, you’re a skilled communicator as you will collaborate with the SEM agency and GMs regularly. Note, this is a national brand in local markets, so LSA (Local Services Ads in Google) experience is definitely an added bonus!
Here are a few more requirements and nice-to-haves:
- Experience managing agencies is preferred.
- Google AdWords Certification is strongly preferred.
- Google Analytics experience is required, with GA certification a plus.
- Must have good organizational, troubleshooting, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under limited supervision.
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Minimal domestic travel may be required.
