The Hired Guns are seeking a highly tech-savvy Product Manager with strong project management chops to lead a series of high-priority relaunch and replatforming initiatives for the fundraising and development arm of a premier hospital system.
The Nitty Gritty
The backstory on the organization and why they need to hire you!
A top NYC-based healthcare institution is looking for a tech-savvy Product Manager to join their giving and development group and spearhead the success of a full replatforming of their digital presence in support of their outreach to donors and potential supporters, from CMS to marketing automation to email marketing to payment processing and fulfillment. Get ready for an exciting ride as you roadmap a heavy agenda of development projects, interface with key stakeholders to define capabilities and establish priorities, and partner closely with the engineering team to assess feasibility and drive to launch!
Why You?
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have 5 to 10 years’ experience in a combination of product management and project management roles. If you’ve got some experience in software development, that’s awesome, but at the very least you have to be fluent in developer-ese and experienced in highly productive collaboration with engineering teams. You’ve worked on big (and we mean big) projects: large-scale site relaunches, replatforming migrations, and other efforts where a million things had to go just right. You’re an exceptional communicator, negotiator, and problem solver who’s interacted effectively with a whole gamut of stakeholders: developers, vendors, senior leadership, clients, and more.
You’ll need to be expert with Jira and Confluence and deeply immersed in Agile tools and methodologies. Our dream candidate would have experience with the Blackbaud stack of technologies focused on the non-profit sector (including Luminate Online and Blackbaud’s WordPress implementation). Short of that, we’d be thrilled to find someone who has worked with similar platforms (Pardot/ExactTarget, Marketo, Drupal) that support digital content and marketing at an enterprise scale. We’re open to great product managers who come from a wide variety of industries, not just healthcare, as well as digital agencies.
