The Hired Guns are seeking a data-driven Senior CRM Manager to oversee CRM campaigns and communication channels at a billion-dollar-and-growing eyewear company that sits at the nexus of healthcare and retail. This is a contract role lasting about four months, but with a possibility of full-time hire if you are successful.
Pay range: $52 to $68 per hour

In this role you will develop multi-channel consumer journeys, build and deploy campaigns, monitor data and understand performance within their channels, and develop optimization strategies to achieve business goals and improve consumer engagement.
This company’s business model revolves around challenging large chain eyewear stores and big-box stores-within-stores. They collaborate with independent, local optometrists across the United States, allowing them to join their network while maintaining their independence. This partnership includes a centralized marketing function. This way, communities can continue receiving eye care from familiar professionals while competing with major players like LensCrafters and Walmart.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
First off, you’re curious and proactive, and you love to engage with internal stakeholders to provide CRM strategy, guidance, and best practices. The right candidate has 5-7+ years of experience building and sending emails with 5+ years of experience with an email service provider (Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Klaviyo, MailChimp, Hubspot, Iterable, etc. B2C experience with a multi-store retailer is a must.
To be successful in this role, you must also have:
- CRM lifecycle retention experience with both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar
- Deep segmentation experience and a background in trigger-based campaigns
- Experience in SMS CRM campaigns is a must—bonus points if you use Braze
- 2+ years of working in the healthcare industry with people-management experience
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Ability to easily report on campaign success and understanding of acronyms like OR, CTR, CTOR, ROI
- Proficiency in using Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar testing tools (a must)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS email and a basic understanding of Excel
