By skillfully combining the power of the Internet with the best in retailing, this 160-year-old business has quickly become a top 10 e-tailer that’s poised to reach new digital heights in 2022. Due to their rapid scale and success, they’re looking for a whip-smart Senior Manager of Digital Media Analytics to come onboard and analyze business results while providing standardized reporting across all digital acquisition marketing tactics. You’ll provide strategic recommendations, insights, and guidance to marketing teams for paid search, natural search, affiliate marketing, display, social, online video, and online audio. Plus, you’ll utilize a multi-touch attribution system to optimize spend across paid marketing tactics. If broadening the scope of KPIs for marketing channels and driving optimization based on customer-centric metrics excites you, then this is the role for you.
This is a highly collaborative role in which you’ll work closely with media partners and the site merchandising and digital merchandising teams to hit all sales plans. If you love to manage and mentor a team, that’s great, because you will have four direct reports. You’ll be immersed in a startup-style, fast-paced environment within a well-resourced organization with really great colleagues – work will actually be super interesting and fun! How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have 5+ years’ experience overseeing coordinated delivery of analytics with a focus on digital marketing, with 2+ years of demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams. The ideal candidate has e-commerce experience and/or is working at a digital media agency with e-commerce clients, driving customers to the top of the funnel. Your career has been 100% focused in digital media, and you’re able to capture all the technical aspects of a business. Proficiency with SQL and its variations among popular databases is required. Strong experience working with large data sets and web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Multi Touch Attribution, SAS, IBM Analytics, etc.) is a must. You are a strong leader who loves managing and mentoring a team to success.
