Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing Wanted at High-Growth Org
Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per year
Are You the Missing Piece?
What if you could walk into a massive existing database and be the person who figures out what it could become?
We’re looking for a hands-on lifecycle marketer to build a CRM/lifecycle function from the ground up at a fast-growing company operating in a highly regulated industry. You’ll own the strategy and the execution, from building journeys to segmentation to reactivation programs to testing frameworks/measurement, and the marketing automation engine itself.
There’s a huge audience waiting to be activated, a new CRM platform coming online, and no rigid playbook telling you how to do it. Come in as the hands-on builder, prove the impact, and earn the opportunity to build and lead the team as the function grows.
What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- 8 – 10+ years in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or email marketing, with deep roots in hands-on execution.
- You’ve built or transformed a lifecycle function, rather than simply inheriting a mature machine.
- You know how to turn a large database into an engagement engine, from acquisition and onboarding through engagement, retention, reactivation, and win-back.
- You’re genuinely a hands-on-keyboard operator who can build journeys, campaigns, segmentation, testing, reporting, and dashboards, not someone looking to manage from 30,000 feet.
- Deep experience with a major marketing automation/ESP platform such as Iterable, Customer.io, Braze, Klaviyo, or comparable technology; experience with Iterable or Customer.io is particularly relevant.
- You’ve worked in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment, be it healthcare, pharma, financial services, fintech, insurance, telecom, gaming, etc., and you understand consent, privacy, suppression, QA, deliverability, and compliance.
- You can work with large-scale audiences and databases, using condition/attributes, geography, engagement, funnel stage, source, and behavioral data to make communications more relevant.
- You’re comfortable with A/B testing and measurement, including engagement, conversion, cohort performance, reactivation, revenue/yield per segment, and downstream funnel impact.
- You can partner across data, technology, creative, product/engineering, paid media, and other marketing teams to connect acquisition spend with downstream lifecycle performance.
- You have the maturity and ambition to build a team eventually, ideally with prior hiring/management experience, but you’re excited to start as the person doing the work and earn your way into a Director-level leadership role.
You should take this meeting because …
This is not your average “keep the CRM humming” type job. It’s a chance to build the machine. You’ll inherit a significant existing audience, including millions of legacy contacts, and have the autonomy to determine how segmentation, personalization, re-engagement, retention, measurement, and lifecycle strategy should work. You’ll also lead the buildout of a next-generation marketing automation platform ahead of a major engagement launch, giving you a real seat at the table in defining the function. And if you’re someone who ultimately wants to lead a team, there’s a clear runway: Come in as the hands-on senior-manager-level builder, create the model, demonstrate the impact, and grow the function around you. It’s a rare opportunity for a lifecycle marketer who wants both the keys to the engine room and a path to the corner office. Get in touch with us today!
