This leading digital financial media site is in the midst of a massive reinvention and is looking for an investment-savvy social media maven to help broaden its messaging and breadth. All of the fun of a startup with none of the risk! (And, sadly, none of the Friday afternoon bar cart, since this is a fully remote position.) They’re looking to grow and diversify their audiences by breaking down barriers and broadening the finance playing field. You’ll be the voice of all social media channels for this site. You’ll help resculpt social and editorial strategy in order to increase views and engage new audiences. Opportunity and growth are the name of the game in this role.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have at least five years of experience working in social media—if it’s specifically within the financial news space, even better. You’re comfortable operating all social accounts and brand communications with the goal of growing the company’s social footprint, engaging with new audiences, and managing content distribution. You have advanced writing skills, an eye for design, and an innate knowledge about which content will resonate with the company’s target audience, while also appealing to a younger demographic. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and love jumping into the editorial strategy and ideation process. It goes without saying that you have extensive experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Extra bonus if you’re someone who’s into meme culture, understands social native platforms, and possesses familiarity with Reddit’s WallStreetBets.
