This high-growth, multi-location healthcare-meets-retail services company is looking for a Senior Director of Paid Media to fundamentally reshape how performance marketing drives business outcomes. You’ll own the full paid media ecosystem from strategy to measurement to agency accountability and experimentation across hundreds of nationwide locations.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, analytics, finance, and operations, building a smarter system for demand generation in a capacity-constrained business. You’ll move the organization beyond CAC dashboards into true incrementality, ROI, and market-level decision making.

What’s it going to take to score an interview?
- 10+ years in paid media/performance marketing, including senior ownership of large budgets ($20 million+ range preferred)
- Ability to be on-site in D.C. 2 days a week (non-negotiable). They could also make Raleigh, NC your base.
- Experience in multi-location or appointment-based businesses (healthcare, dental, med-spa, retail services, home services, hospitality, etc.)
- Deeply quantitative mindset: You spend real time in spreadsheets validating performance, not just reviewing slides
- Proven experience owning agency strategy (not just managing status calls) and holding partners accountable
- Strong POV on incrementality and measurement: geo tests, holdouts, MMM, causal thinking, finance-grade ROI
- Comfortable operating at market / zip-code level strategy, not just enterprise averages
- Experience balancing demand generation with operational realities (capacity, utilization, local economics)
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business narratives that leadership actually trusts
- Bonus points if you’ve worked in healthcare-adjacent or regulated environments, but analytical rigor matters more than industry pedigree.
