Our client is getting set to bring about a sea change in the commercial real estate (CRE) market with a SaaS product that offers data of unequaled transparency and scope on CRE financing and transaction activity. There’s a huge market opportunity out there, and it’ll be up to you as the B2B Marketing Manager to unlock copious quantities of qualified leads for their sales team to go after.
The challenge: turn a large but undifferentiated universe of potential prospects into a genuine sales funnel. How? First, by bringing your amazing content marketing skills to take a base of informational content on the market and the product and make it “talk” to prospective customers through site content, social media, and email marketing. It’ll be up to you to communicate positioning and craft skillful CTAs that guide and qualify leads through each step of the funnel. At the same time, you’ll be implementing a marketing automation platform that will put that qualification process into action, identifying market-qualified leads, then nurturing them into sales-qualified leads and feeding them to the sales force, all the while analyzing and measuring the results.
What Success Looks Like
A year into the job, you’ll be running a tightly-integrated demand generation program that utilizes marketing automation to funnel leads effectively to sales. In your first three months, you’ll set up the systems and processes, build the content and scoring strategy and the KPIs and metrics. The rest of the year you’ll execute, testing and adapting as you go. Ultimately, you’ll crack the code for how to improve lead quality and conversion rates hat lead to significant sales growth.

You’re an experienced B2B marketer in the fintech space with expertise in demand generation, lead generation, and customer acquisition. It’s a big plus if you’ve marketed a SaaS product. This is a hands-on role, so we need a hands-on person with hands-on experience. You’ve implemented and managed a marketing automation platform (Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, or the equivalent). You have superb content marketing skills: you’ve crafted highly effective messaging based on established positioning, you’ve repurposed existing content for different channels (site content, social, email), and you’ve devised CTAs that shepherd leads efficiently through the qualification and lead-nurturing processes.
You’re highly analytical and insanely skilled in defining metrics and KPIs, tracking performance and troubleshooting to stay on target. You’re a fantastic team player and collaborator who works effectively with marketing, sales, product, and senior management to help optimize the entire organization.
You’re energetic and entrepreneurial, someone who spots opportunity and goes after it.
