The Hired Guns are seeking a Director of Digital Growth to support membership expansion at a mission-driven nonprofit startup. They have garnered 2 million users in 14 months and want (with your help) to get to 5 million members by the end of 2022.

A fast-scaling not-for-profit membership organization (they help their members improve their financial standing through products, services and political organizing) needs a smart, senior-level digital advertising director to grow and lead their Ad Ops team. In this role, you will partner with vendors as well as strategize internally to meet recruitment and advocacy goals. The Director of Digital Growth will build strong relationships with marketing partners, hold key members accountable to campaign goals, evaluate digital advertising performance, and drive strategy and planning meetings.
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have 5-7 years of experience in digital advertising and are ready to jump into a fast and ever-changing environment that requires moving quickly to meet shifting goals and leading your team towards growth. Having managed annual ad budgets of $1 million+, you can point to examples of creating audience growth through registration and memberships and increasing brand awareness.
Your past experience includes building, executing, and optimizing advertising campaigns across digital platforms and working closely with vendors/partners. Bonus points for previous experience working in advocacy, legislative, or an electoral campaign and managing a team. If you’re someone who likes to work hands-on in addition to delegating and managing, this collaborative, driven team wants to hear from you!
