As Director of Digital Marketing for one of New York’s hottest real estate developments, you will lead audience development, measurement, and the implementation of the entire digital marketing strategy across all channels to drive sales, visitation, foot-traffic and NOI growth for this destination’s shops and restaurants. You’ll be responsible for content accuracy, including the layout, visual components, and copy. You will develop materials for each audience and/or demographic. You’ll work closely with internal marketing teams to stay up to date and maintain content calendars for all digital channels. In short, it’s a really exciting role where you get to develop and sustain strong relationships with NYC’s top retail and restaurant tenants to ensure consistent participation and integration of digital marketing initiatives.
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
First of all, you love love love NYC. You’re fascinated by real estate development and all the marketing it entails, and you’re a master of all things digital marketing and CRM. You definitely have a keen eye for digital trends. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of marketing experience (it’s a plus if you have retail or shopping center industry knowledge). Demonstrated digital experience with curated content is a must. It’s a no-brainer that you have excellent copywriting skills and you’re adept at content curation for websites, marketing materials and e-blasts. Robust knowledge of working on Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other email management systems is necessary. Plus, you must have experience managing email marketing campaigns – including editing content and segmentation of audiences. You’re flexible when it comes to working event shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with updating and managing websites via CMS platforms including Drupal and WordPress is great. Plus, if you have experience working on digital signage networks, you definitely have an in here!
