The Hired Guns are seeking a hands-on self-starter to be Director of Product Management for an international digital learning company that is soaring in growth.

They put the concept of “impact as a service” on the map. To keep pace with this rapid evolution, they need an outcome-oriented Director of Product Management to take ownership of product development for multiple platforms aligned with their key business priorities. In this role, you will have two direct reports and you will need to think about how to evolve the current platforms for distribution. You will lead the vision and management of the platform roadmaps throughout the product life cycle, interface with stakeholders and customers, and research market trends and the competitive landscape. You’ll work closely with partners in UX and engineering to continuously evolve the company’s offerings. In short, it’s a great role within a forward-thinking, socially impactful organization. Oh, and Jeff Bezos is one of the main investors…so you don’t need to worry about that paycheck not hitting!
Why You?
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You have 8+ years of product management experience with web-based products and a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. It’s a must that you have experience with B2B2C and/or SaaS products and experience with AdTech or marketplace platforms. You should be a master of the two-sided marketplace, and prepared to talk about how you’ve launched solutions to meet the needs of multiple sets of users simultaneously. You should be fluent in customer relationship management systems (Salesforce) and ticket management systems (JIRA), and have complete mastery of turning product requirements into a strategic roadmap. You should be excited about the prospect of being in an industry that is making an impact on the world. Bonus points if you’re a tinkerer (in other words, you have some awesome side hobbies!)
