A leading digital marketing agency is looking for a sharp Senior Media Planner to join their nimble team and manage digital media strategy for its value-creating clients in the higher-education and non-profit spaces. As Senior Media Planner, you will lead digital media planning for education clients in partnership with the Media Director and media buying team. You will attend internal and client-facing meetings, speaking to media campaign performance and strategy. You will represent the agency’s POV on vertical-specific trends and the digital media landscape at large. You’ll keep a keen eye on all growth opportunities within existing client portfolios, and you’ll help develop media strategies to reach your client’s objectives. A big part of this job is creating annual and campaign-specific cross-platform tactical media plans, identifying KPIs and generating ongoing testing plans. This is a highly collaborative role in which you will interact with the media buying team to QA campaign set up, targeting, and budgets prior to launch, while also monitoring campaign performance and recommending optimizations. How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital marketing or advertising role. You have extensive experience working with two or more of the following platforms: programmatic/display, such as Google Campaign Manager and Display & Video 360 experience; paid social platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok. You have a familiarity with Google Analytics (or the ability to learn it super-quick!). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a must. You enjoy interacting with clients, and you have a proven track record of successfully delivering client-facing presentations. You have an Interest in mentoring junior associates, so experience as a manager is a plus! Experience working on higher education or cause/non-profit clients is a major bonus, too.
