The Hired Guns are seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join the digital analytics team of a famous retail brand that’s a major player in both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar retail. If you’re a great communicator with excellent technical skills and exceptional insight into the e-commerce customer journey, we’d love to hear from you!
The Nitty Gritty
The backstory on the organization and why they need to hire you!
As Senior Product Analyst, you’ll be an important member of the team that provides critical intelligence to product management, user experience, engineering, and finance, supporting them in key decisions that impact the business. With your comprehensive command of data-analysis tools and techniques, you’ll design and implement testing programs, monitor site usage and performance, present cogent recommendations, and generate reports and insights. You’ll also help provide do-it-yourself access to business intelligence to your cross-functional partners, building dashboard and reporting tools and training your counterparts in their effective use.
Why You?
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
You’re the complete package: technical expertise, quantitative orientation, solid business sense, and strong communication skills. Starting with a degree in a quantitative field (computer science, math, statistics, economics, engineering, or similar subject), you’ve got all the critical tools of the trade under your belt: Adobe and Google Analytics, SQL, Excel, programming language proficiency (Python, R, Javascript), Tealium Tag Manager, customer experience analytics tools (Tealeaf, Glassbox, Quantum metrics), Feedback tools (Medallia, Qualtrics etc), and more.
You’ve worked in the analytics field for at least four years, including time with a high-traffic, big-SKU e-commerce retailer (ideally one that also has a real-world footprint). Right now, your title is probably Analyst, Senior Analyst, or Analytics Manager. Along the way, you’ve developed a deep understanding of the marketing and purchase conversion funnel and have seen up-close where friction can occur that causes customer fall-off and lost revenue. An intimate connection with the data has given you an amazing spider-sense for how to wield analysis to drive smart decisions. And you’ve developed the chutzpah to stand up and offer recommendations, as well as the communication skills and diplomacy to convince skeptical colleagues.
The Inside Skinny
Why you should quit your job right now and join this organization!
You’ve become a standout in your current organization with your combination of technical chops and business acumen, and you’re yearning to grow in your career. Here’s your chance to join a team that’s going to offer huge scope for advancement while making some real headlines in the e-commerce space.
