The Hired Guns are seeking a Senior Manager of Paid Media to develop and execute a multi-channel paid media strategy at a billion-dollar-and-growing eyewear company that sits at the nexus of healthcare and retail.
Salary range: $140,000 to $160,000 per year

A rapidly growing, female-led retail eyewear brand (hint: they’re poised to take on Warby Parker) that recently reached $1 billion in annual revenue is searching for a Senior Manager of Paid Media to develop and carry out a multi-channel paid media strategy that helps acquire new patients. You will manage the agency relationship, media budget, and media plans across channels, while driving improvements in CAC and ROI from core channels. You’ll help the company diversify into new channels and tactics to reach the right audiences. You’ll also move the needle in terms of paid video and programmatic. After you’ve got all of those channels squared away, your next area of focus will be CRM.
This is a newly-created position – i.e. you get to come in and run the show, drive the strategy, and manage the agency relationship. How you’ll know if you’re a fit…
The ideal candidate has 7+ years’ experience managing digital advertising campaigns with responsibility for management of a multimillion-dollar media budget and ROI. You have strong analytical and media planning skills with a focus on optimization. You’re well-versed in paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, and paid video. You have a proven track record of driving ROI, and you’re a demand-gen wiz. You’re adept at managing large $10M+ media budgets and making smart decisions. You’re also great at managing agency relationships and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with paid video, multi-touch attribution, incrementality, and CRM are all a must. Expertise in both lower-funnel/conversion-oriented tactics and mid-funnel campaigns is non-negotiable. You must have a high level of proficiency in Sheets or Excel and be adept with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, queries, and formula-building for text manipulation and data analysis. If you have a background with location-based or availability-based businesses, that will go a long way here!
